Privacy policy.

This policy describes how Upstream, a Vendidit company, collects, uses and protects information provided through upstream.vendidit.com, in the Upstream application, and in the course of an engagement.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly, such as your name, company, work email, the kind of organization you are and what arrives on your floor, when you book a walkthrough.

Information collected automatically, such as pages visited, the referring site and the browser used, through Google Analytics.

Information provided in the course of an engagement, such as item photographs, item data and an export from your WMS or ERP, is governed by the engagement terms and this policy together.

How we use information

To respond to inquiries and set up walkthroughs, to provide and improve Upstream, to communicate about Upstream and other Vendidit products and services, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Customer data

Photographs and item data are sent over encrypted connections to the Upstream cloud for identification and listing. A WMS export is used for attribution and retained under the terms of the engagement. Customer data remains the property of the customer and is never used to train third party models without the customer's agreement.

Sharing

Information is shared with service providers that support Upstream and this website, under contract: Amazon Web Services for hosting, HubSpot for the walkthrough form and communications, and Google for site analytics. Information is shared with partners only where you have asked us to involve a partner, and may be disclosed where required by law.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used. The walkthrough form is provided by HubSpot, which may set cookies of its own when the form loads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the Google Analytics opt out browser add on.

Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to personnel who need it.

Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by writing to hello@vendidit.com. You may unsubscribe from communications at any time using the link in any message.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The effective date below reflects the current version.
